On 11 November, Global Women TechLeaders will convene the Web Summit meetup “Why AI Skills Must Translate into Leadership Access for Women.”
The session will bring together:
- Simona Sandru, Founder & CEO of Global Women TechLeaders
- Radiana Miteva, Happiness Scientist at R•M
- Madalena Costa, Founder & AI Product Strategist at Human x Intelligent
- Steliana Moraru, CEO of Vettoria and Vice President of the Board at Global Women TechLeaders, who will moderate the conversation
Women are acquiring the technical and strategic capabilities required by the AI economy. Yet capability does not automatically create influence.
Without access to senior sponsors, capital, executive opportunities and consequential professional networks, highly capable women remain excluded from many of the places where technology’s future is decided. That is not only an equality problem. It represents lost leadership capacity and lost economic value.
Together, the four speakers will explore how organizations can move beyond skills programmes and visibility initiatives to create practical, measurable pathways into leadership.
The conversation will address
- Why AI education without advancement pathways is incomplete.
- How sponsorship differs from mentorship.
- What organizations can do to connect capable women with authority and opportunity.
- How human performance and wellbeing affect sustainable leadership.
- How AI products and workplaces can retain a genuinely human perspective.
- What accountability should follow public commitments to women’s advancement.
